On March 9th we were able to meet with some amazing activists in San Diego and talk about our plan to change the way campaigns are funded. It was great to hear Representative Scott Peters connect the dots between the influence of the oil and gas industry and our environment. He spoke to the point that even though more than 80% of Americans have said they want action on climate change, the oil and gas industry continues to block progress by pouring millions of dollars in congressional campaigns.

Representative Susan Davis connected the dots between Big Money in politics and voting rights, issues that we believe go hand-in-hand.

The Us Campaign is helping to get new reform candidates elected to Congress, but we are always working hard to make sure great representatives like Davis and Peters win their re-election bids so they can continue to push for comprehensive campaign finance reform.
